- Accumulator
- a single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- a type of spread betting that eliminates the draw outcome.
- Back
- to place a bet in favor of an outcome.
- Bankroll Management
- the practice of budgeting and limiting the amount of money wagered to avoid big losses.
- Bet Builder
- a tool that allows you to combine multiple markets from a single match into one wager.
- Both Teams to Score (BTTS)
- a bet on whether both sides will score at least one goal.
- Cash Out
- a feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or loss.
- Closing Line
- the final odds offered just before an event starts, used to gauge the quality of a bet.
- Correct Score
- a bet predicting the exact final score of a match.
- Double Chance
- a bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (e.g., win/draw, draw/win, etc.).
- Draw No Bet
- a market where you bet on a team to win, and you get your stake back if the match ends in a draw.
- Edge
- the perceived advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker's odds.
- First Goal Scorer
- a wager on which player will net the opening goal of the match.
- Free Bet
- a promotional credit that can be used to place a bet without risking your own money.
- In-Play Betting
- placing bets after a match has started while odds change in real time.
- Kelly Criterion
- a mathematical formula used to determine the optimal size of a bet based on perceived edge.
- KYC (Know Your Customer)
- the process of verifying a bettor's identity to comply with regulations and prevent fraud.
- Lay
- to place a bet against an outcome, typically used in betting exchanges.
- Live Odds
- the updated odds offered during an ongoing match.
- Over/Under
- a bet on whether the total number of goals is above or below a set line.
- Public Money
- the bulk of bets placed by casual bettors, which can sway odds in the opposite direction.
- Risk-Free Bet
- a promotion that refunds your stake if the bet loses, up to a set amount.
- Unit
- a standard measurement of the size of a bet, often a percentage of your total bankroll.
- Void
- a bet that is canceled and all stakes are returned, usually due to a match being postponed or a rule violation.
